Socovos Magazine 2016

Client Ayuntamiento de Socovos

SIZE
MATTERS

After the two previous editions of the magazine in which the photographic edition had focused on showing the most human side of the town, the organizers of the festivities demanded a magazine that would show the landscape, that would once again extol the natural environment of the town. With this premise, the size of the magazine acquired a window dimension towards fields and slopes, towards mountains and streams. The aerial view of the images made by Mario Miranda, gave it spectacularity and allowed the Socoveño to give him an unknown perspective of the landscapes of his land.

CONTEXT

Socovos is a small town in the Sierra del Segura in southeastern Spain. A full-fledged town with the beauty that this place name entails, full of allusions to the simple, the primary and the close. This continues to be one of the most ambitious projects that we develop in the studio, since the design of this patron saint festivities magazine supposes each new issue a challenge to a format traditionally stuck in the purest utilitarianism.
