Graphic design is so socially widespread that we can find it in all sectors from the primary to the service sector, from the interface of a drip irrigation program to the sign of a bar. It is not only a tool at the service of the economy and advertising, its capacity for synthesis adds to fields as diverse as dissemination, health or new technologies. Design helps explain complex realities and improves the interaction between people and space or people and machines from a textbook to the branding of a town hall.
Public campaigns
Design at the service of the public allows, in the first instance, to connect administrations and citizens, favoring the promotion of public services, the dissemination of social measures, the promotion of public events and the enhancement of new policies and services.
The most visible side of an administration is its workers and its brand. In the absence of people, it is the brand that embodies what the institution represents. In many cases it should make us feel part of it, as happens with territory brands. Wanting to wear a brand is the greatest aspiration of any commercial brand and the minimum requirement of an institutional brand towards its users.
