Project
Blank
ClientEdiciones Posibles
BLANK is the materialization in the form of a book-object of the homonymous project by the photographer Josep María de Llobet. In a context of economic crisis caused by the banks, they begin to close branches, tinting their windows white. The windows become opaque, a metaphor for how it works itself. The design tries to reinforce that opaque character, allowing only a small part of the image to be seen through the title.
ACHIEVEMENTS
With a promising takeoff after winning the ArtsLibris 2019 fair, BLANK has been cultivating successes to form part of some of the most important collections in Spain such as Fundació Banc Sabadell, MACBA or the Library of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, in addition to the private collection by Joan Fontcuberta.
